Question : What is experimental and non-experimental research?

In experimental research, a researcher intends to verify his hypothesis using certain variables and manipulating others to observe if the results reflect that the manipulations directly caused the particular outcome. Whereas non experimental research restricts the researcher to only observe and interpret the variables and then come to any conclusion. He has no control to manipulate the variable to in order to test the hypothesis.
